This is a very stable plant and, within a reasonable climate range, it can be grown at most times of the year.
We have the best results during Autumn and Winter but have successfully grown during Spring Summer as well.
The seed is easy to strike and we always germinate in pots for later transplant.
If you plant 6 – 10 seeds a few weeks apart, then you can ensure a constant supply over several months.
Water weekly, but allow to drain, as they do not like sitting in boggy soil.
As usual, always allow at least on plant to mature to seed for next years supply.
