A definite contender for ‘Best Lime in the World’ this easy care citrus is ‘as tough as’ in most Australian climates and has none of the high maintenance requirements that imported citrus have here.
Once established it is very easy to care for, quite drought tolerant and the only drawback is that if you don’t prune it back well it can become huge.
The fruit pulp is similar to Finger Lime but not as neat. The balloons of juice are unevenly shaped.
The peel is packed full of essential oils and literally nothing needs to go to waste.
These seed grown plants are between 6-12 months old. If they stay in the nursery longer than that we plant them out.
