Brazilian Spinach is another perennial in most climates throughout Australia, and becomes a very dense groundcover growing to 40cm high. Brazilian Spinach thrives in full morning sun and does best in soil enriched with compost.
Once planted, it can be easily maintained as a perennial.
It is very hardy, with few if any pests but keep it moist until it gets established.
It grows generously but is not invasive.
We enjoy to eat it raw in salads with oil, tomato, and garlic.
