Used extensively in traditional medicine as diuretic, antihypertensive, antifungal, and antiulcer herb, it has the unmistakeable scent of Cardomom when brushed or bruised, but is not the plant from which Cardomom Spice seeds are harvested.
Very easy to maintain all year round it makes a great ‘human height’ surround for patio’s or pools and creates a lush sense of green throughout the year.
