Mimosa Tree / Pink Silk Tree – Seeds

A gorgeous deciduous shrub that features highly in Traditional Chinese Medicine, Albizia is a very pleasant garden shrub that only looks sad in winter when it sheds all signs of life.
Even as seedlings, the Pink Silk Tree, loses all of it’s leaves over winter, but comes back with gusto in early Spring.
It is easy to strike and grow and very undemanding in the garden. A favourite of honey eaters, it is always the centre of activity.
In TCM, it is used for insomnia, depression and irritability as well as post traumatic swelling and damp heat in the lungs.
