Warrigal Greens Seeds

Also known as Botany Bay greens, Native Spinach or New Zealand spinach it is so typical of a natural survivor.
It is probably the most persistent of vegetables and literally thrives on neglect.
It needs to be planted somewhere that will allow it to spread and just ramble about.
The blanched leaves can be added to anything that you would use spinach for as well as used in salads.
Be careful not to include any young seed ‘buds’ as they stay as hard as gravel even after being stewed and can be a rude shock to the teeth.
